The lyric keeps naming pressure around the singer: noise, running, shadow, alarm. The music refuses to mirror that pressure with panic. It builds a smooth current underneath the anxious language, so letting go sounds less like peace than like accepting the system already in motion.

The stutter section is where the meaning becomes credible. If the song only glided, the title could sound like decorative optimism. Instead, continuity breaks and the pulse survives. Letting it happen means staying inside motion after control has failed.

That is why the late "I'm ready" carries more weight than the earlier title phrase. Readiness is not declared at the beginning and proven afterward. It is earned by passing through the rupture, returning altered, and letting the fade remove command without turning back.
