Incubus Succubus II
“Incubus Succubus II” turns occult language into a working pattern. The title names demonic figures, fire, night, descent, and exclusion from heaven, but the song does not treat those images as gothic scenery. It makes them rhythmic: a hard pulse, repeated chant, dark middle weight, and a voice that commands from inside the motion.
That is why the refrain matters more as spell than as explanation. “Incubus / Succubus” keeps reversing and returning until the words feel like a gate opening and shutting on the same hinge. The line about demons having no place in heaven lands over music that has already made another place below: not paradise, not collapse, but a driven circuit where fire, night, and fallen-star imagery become disciplined force.
