0:00-0:26 Refrain stated first

After a six-second silent lead-in, riff and pulse enter together near 0:06, and the voice arrives at 0:11 with the title hook, 千本桜 夜ニ紛レ. The song proves its chorus before it has a verse: the refrain is the contract, and the verses that follow exist to climb back to it.

0:26-0:55 Instrumental showcase delays the verse

No quick verse follows the hook. Roughly thirty seconds of ensemble display — riff trading that pushes toward a peak around 0:42, then a pull-back to drums and traditional strings near 0:46 — delays the first sung verse while introducing the players. The narrowing at the end frames the verse entrance.

0:55-1:58 First verse cycle

Verse 1 (0:55–1:19) lays out the rapid syllabic delivery across eight lines, accelerating through the 環状線 pre-choral climb, and the full chorus (1:20–1:45) restates the opening hook in place. A short instrumental link then hands off toward the second verse.

1:58-2:46 Reload, then a rewritten exit

Verse 2 (1:58–2:20) repeats the shape with new imagery; chorus 2 (2:22–2:45) keeps its opening lines but swaps the final couplet for 希望の丘 and an upward-fired flare, so the return changes destination instead of copying. Repetition is the job — the form proves it can reload.

2:47-3:19 Solo exchange empties the vocal frame

Vocals withdraw for a half-minute interlude. It thins after the chorus, then solo lines trade between traditional strings and guitar, gathering weight until the interlude tightens and hands back to the voice.

3:19-4:39 Stacked final choruses, hard stop

The pre-chorus climb returns (3:19–3:29); chorus 3 (3:32–3:44) alters its exit line to leaping down from the guillotine, and the last chorus (3:47–3:59) shifts perspective — 君が歌い僕は踊る. An instrumental outro restates the theme from 4:00 until a hard hit cuts everything at 4:27, ringing out into silence by 4:32. The whole form runs on one mechanism: state the refrain first, earn it twice, then fire it in pairs until it is cut off.
