0:00 Pattern before declaration

The form starts by making a frame before the lyric arrives. Guitar, pulse, and space establish the rule: repetition will matter, but the repetition will keep leaning against plain comfort. This opening teaches the listener how to count and how to doubt the count at the same time.

1:38 Perception opens inside the frame

At 1:38, the first lyric cycle turns from limited color into reaching and sight. Structurally, this is not a verse that simply begins the story. It is the first test of the frame: more perception enters, but the song keeps the same strict container around it.

2:05 Reason-line threshold

The 2:05 section pushes above, below, beyond, and against reason's lines. Its job is to name the boundary that the music has already been drawing. The band does not release the pattern here; it makes the pattern feel like the thing being bent.

2:34 Body/mind split

At 2:34, overanalysis becomes the first real problem. The structure turns inward: the song that invites counting now warns that counting can cut sensation away from intuition. The section is a hinge because it makes the listener's own tracking part of the song's conflict.

2:50 Return through feeling

The 2:50 return answers that split with a will to feel the moment, then brings the color cycle back under stronger force. This is not a reset to the opening. It is a repeat after the song has named the cost of staying only in the head.

3:14 Possibility and repeated force

At 3:14, the field opens toward possibility, and by 3:25 the above-below envelope returns. The repetition matters because each return has more consequence. The same structural materials now carry a widening demand rather than a first statement.

3:52 Second split, sharper cost

The second analysis/intuition warning at 3:52 is darker because the song has already offered a way out. Missing opportunity is now the cost of refusing sensation. Structurally, this prepares the first decisive outward turn rather than closing the argument.

4:32 Cross-line turn

At 4:32, the speaker chooses the moment, the line-crossing, and the random. The form pivots from diagnosis into practice. The pattern still holds, but the section's job is release through commitment, not release through collapse.

5:24 Desire becomes engine

At 5:24, repeated desire becomes the engine for the next lift. By 5:38, rhythm, connection, grief, inspiration, power, and beauty accumulate as one rising passage. The structure has stopped circling the threshold and has begun using the threshold as motion.

6:12 Spiral with ground under it

The 6:12 spiral sequence is the song's high structural claim. It reaches toward divinity, then checks itself by staying human. That ending inside the section is crucial: the form permits transcendence only when the ground remains part of the design.

7:30 Grounded close and final command

At 7:30, the lyric returns to ground, skin, sound, and bewilderment. 8:04 sends will and wind outward, and 8:20 turns the spiral into the final repeated command. The ending works because the command is not imported. The whole structure has been teaching that motion from the first figure.
