Raise the Sun
Read
Narration sentence highlighting is idle.
The opening is steady but not rushed: drums keep time while the guitars hang above them.
Here the pattern loosens and slows, more like a held breath than a full stop.
The drums pick up and the guitars come in heavier, giving the instrumental section more body.
Now the voice arrives: "Hear me now" comes in as a direct call, with sunrise already in the line.
The singing stays lifted on "Walk upon the Earth" and "rise and shine," but the band keeps it grounded.
That harsh voice changes the color immediately. "Your future design" doesn't sound like clean uplift anymore.
The clean call returns, this time looking upward toward mountains instead of sunrise.
"The spine of the sky" is a huge image, and then "claw your insides" pulls it back into the body.
The harsh passage comes back longer now, with the same future-design phrase pressed harder by repetition.
"Dark sky, moonrise" cools the whole middle of the song without dropping the forward drive.
In this long instrumental stretch, the low movement stays dependable while the guitar color keeps turning above it.
It could feel like simple repetition by now, but the small changes in density keep the road moving.
The late voice comes back with "See as one, all as none," less like arrival than another hard look forward.
"Reaching for passage home" makes the upward pull feel necessary, not decorative.
Now the repeated ending starts: "We will rise to the path" is hammered into the same heavy stride.
The words repeat instead of expanding. At this point, the insistence is the point.
The grip finally falls away fast after holding for so long.
