Raise the Sun
"Raise the Sun" treats hope as pressure-bearing discipline. The title could suggest simple uplift, but the song refuses that. The first vocal call around 1:49 brings sunrise, earth, rising, and breath into a track that has already spent a long time building weight. Light is not given. It has to be moved.
The harsh voice keeps the meaning honest. Around 2:09 and again at 2:49, future, sight, spiral, and alignment are dragged through a darker edge. The long middle makes endurance the argument, and the late return at 5:24 earns its unity, passage home, speech, path, eye, and light by duration. By 5:55, the repeated rise/path/light sequence is less a slogan than a test: step, strain, alignment, and the choice to raise something bright through heaviness.
