Narration sentence highlighting is idle.

The song starts by walking before it says anything: guitar repeating, bass low, drums keeping the path plain.

By here the beat has settled. It isn't rushing, but it keeps moving with no real opening in it.

The surface gets harder while the rhythm stays put, so the change is in the weight, not in a new tempo.

Here's the first voice: 'Come closer and see' arrives cold, over a track that's already been leading us forward.

The return turns the looking darker. The vocal keeps it simple, and the band doesn't soften around it.

Now the voice in the lyric appears, but the playing stays controlled. The chase is named without the band panicking.

When he sings 'Into the trees,' the line lands on motion the instruments have been making for a long time.

That repeated 'Into the trees' comes back like a direction he can't stop taking.

The lyric suddenly stops, but listen to the track underneath: it keeps its discipline while the voice realizes it's too late.

'The girl was never there' removes the thing he was chasing, and the band still doesn't collapse.

The repeated 'Again and again' fits because the music has been teaching recurrence from the beginning.

At the end the hold finally drains away. It sounds less like rescue than the recording closing off the path.
