Stacked synthetic voices hang in the air, bright and almost weightless, over a small ticking pulse.

A voice now — small, close, set right on top of the beat.

Weight arrives underneath. The groove firms into a pocket, and the voice leans forward into it.

The singing dissolves into a wordless hook, circling over the same tight grid.

The second verse pulls the bed away — her voice suddenly close over a nearly bare pulse.

The floor returns beneath her — the pocket re-forms and fills out.

Again the voice steps aside, and the loop takes the wheel.

The voice picks up the pace — short clipped phrases tumbling over a grid that hasn't moved.

The rapid run breaks off, and the hook comes back up.

One more round, this time with airy stacks of voice drifting in behind the lead.

The grid lets go. The pulse stops carrying, and the voices keep circling in the open.

The last loops thin into air, and everything settles into silence.
