Verse 2 (1:14) swaps in the Caribbean fish story while the same verse-and-refrain contract reloads unchanged at 1:33. After the second water tag, a distorted guitar solo takes the foreground over the intro riff, roughly 1:49–2:10 — the main instrumental detour, and its one detour from the pattern.

Verse 1's text returns at 2:10, repetition itself doing the work: the trick instructions heard again after the fish story, as if reset.
