A low drone rises in, air moving across its surface.

A faint metallic ring drifts in high above the drone, thin and far off.

A voice arrives as breath more than tone — a whisper sitting just above the pad.

The whisper thins to traces and folds back into the drone.

A beat surfaces under the pad — soft at first, already even.

Low weight settles in under the pulse — the floor darkens.

By now the groove is at full stride — wide across the speakers, heavy on the step.

A long bright line rises over the beat and takes the top of the mix.

And the whisper is back, airy and far, riding above all that weight.

The groove has settled into a deep, even pocket — the kind the body leans into without deciding to.

The voice recedes, and the rhythm keeps the floor to itself.

The beat falls away, and a wide, dark space opens where the groove was.

In all that openness, the voice returns as bare breath over the drone.

The whisper dissolves, and a soft pad swells up to fill the space behind it.

The voice comes back closer this time, a touch fuller, over the swelling pad.

Somewhere beneath the pad, a pulse is finding its way back.

The low end takes hold again, and the groove settles back into its stride.

This late in, the stride hasn't slipped — the beat even, the weight still holding.
