A low hum opens the recording, dark and wide, with a long echo trailing it.

High above that hum, a thin organ tone steps in, bright and unhurried.

Her voice arrives next, soft and close, drifting over the organ.

She climbs, opens up, and holds one high note while the accompaniment swells underneath.

Then the band lands: a guitar riff and drums hitting together, and the whole floor of the music hardens.

Riff and double-kick in lockstep; the drive holds there, bar after bar, barely breathing.
