Resurge
"Resurge" treats rebirth as a command issued under pressure, not as a clean inspirational turn. The lyric begins with blank-canvas and new-chance language, but it quickly makes restart depend on removing what was held close, burning down what was loved, and lightening an old weight. The repeated title phrase matters because it keeps sounding more necessary and less innocent each time it returns.
The middle and late sections make the conflict explicit. Regression, doubt, self-erasure, failed self-trust, and mental calamity turn renewal into a fight against the speaker's own interior pattern. The music supports that meaning by staying locked instead of drifting into despair: the body keeps moving while the self questions whether it can rely on itself at all. By the ending, "resurge" does not mean the old self has been escaped. It means the song has dragged that old weight through one controlled burn and left the restart unresolved.
