EISENFUNK

PENTAFUNK

"PENTAFUNK" is structured as a fast machine learning how much change it can make without giving up the grid. Its sections are not dramatic chapters. They are weight tests inside one locked corridor, followed by a silence that makes the whole corridor disappear.

0:00-0:26 Lock and first weight test

The opening catches, steadies, then seats the body around 0:10. By 0:22 the low support thins enough to expose the machinery, and the return near 0:26 establishes the track's main structural method: lift the floor briefly, then restore it before the groove loses authority.

0:26-0:58 Stable runway

This span keeps the same fast count while the arrangement makes small load changes audible. The pulse does not need a large break because the listener has already been trained to hear the difference between full floor and exposed mechanism.

0:58-1:50 Re-grounded drive

At 0:58 the low support gathers again, and the structure commits more fully to occupation. Around 1:25 the weight thickens inside the same lane; around 1:35 and 1:50 it lightens again. These are not resets. They are pressure marks on a groove that keeps running.

1:50-4:33 Long hold

The long middle is the track's main argument. Pattern and attention stay sustained through this stretch: a stable runway held long enough that tiny changes in density, brightness, and load become structural events.

4:33-4:40 Cut and re-entry

After the long hold, the pressure opens and then drops into internal silence around 4:36. The return near 4:40 does not rebuild the earlier section. It comes back as rupture, with attention sharply reduced and the old grip weakened.

4:40-5:08 Broken tail

The ending is made of partial starts and failing fragments. Little returns around 4:46, 4:55, 5:00, and 5:03 keep invoking the pattern without restoring it. By 5:08, the final silence turns the structure into absence: the groove is gone, but the body still remembers the count.
