The sound of this recording is built from touch and aftermath. The first notes arrive with clear attack, but the important event is what remains after the key is struck: a dark, soft resonance that lets the phrase hang in the air.

Through the opening, the piano keeps weight suspended. Low notes give the room depth without making the piece heavy, while the upper line glows just enough to stay visible. The surface is not bright in a glittering way. It is shaded, with each chord changing the color of the silence around it.

When motion gathers after the first minute, the sound becomes more continuous. The left hand adds a firmer current, and the right hand begins to ripple across it. The recording stays delicate, but delicacy does not mean weakness here. The attack remains clean enough that the listener can hear where every shimmer begins.

The central section widens the instrument without breaking the spell. More notes enter, brightness rises, and the texture thickens, yet the piano never turns into a hard-edged climax. The sound argument is control: the performance lets the piece bloom while keeping the edges rounded.

The late return changes the ear's sense of quiet. Earlier resonance felt like suspension; now it feels like release after a larger motion. The same dark room is there, but the listener hears more air inside it.

At the close, the piano becomes almost all decay. The hands play less, and the room finishes more. The final sound does not assert an ending. It thins until the listener notices that the resonance has been the piece's deepest instrument all along.
