Black Sabbath
War Pigs
Read
Narration sentence highlighting is idle.
`War Pigs` is an anti-war song, but its meaning is sharper than protest as topic. It accuses organized power: people who gather, plan, send other bodies into fire, and then hide from the cost. The slow opening matters because it gives that charge a public body before the lyric starts.
The timed lyric moves from generals and the "war machine" to politicians hiding from their own violence. Then the final vocal cluster changes exposure into sentence: judgment, crawling power, begging, sin, and the last image of "Satan laughing." The fast outro carries that meaning forward without adding new words. The song keeps power on trial until the cutoff makes the machine vanish.
