bad guy

Narration sentence highlighting is idle.
She starts talking first, not singing. Just a little Invisalign joke in open air.
There's the laugh. Then a close bass and dry snaps click in, small, with a lot of empty space around them.
Billie comes in almost under the beat. Soft, close, white shirt and a bloody nose, and the track stays tiny around her.
Now the lines get clipped on purpose. Tough guy, rough guy, bad type. The list is basically part of the beat.
Duh. The bottom drops, and bad guy sits out over almost nothing. More of a shrug than a big chorus.
Same dry snaps underneath, still close. She's offering control while the track keeps holding almost everything back.
That mommy sing-along line lands just as casually as the rest. Still soft voice, still that tight little beat.
Same tough-guy list comes back. Same clipped rhymes. You already know the shape, so it just feels more settled.
Here. Slower, darker floor under only good at being bad. The cartoon bite goes quieter and lower.
Still low and close. Mad, alone, cologne. No big lift. Just the voice right up on you.
And the title breaks into little pieces. Bad guy, bad guy, left over that darker room instead of blowing up.
