Forbidden Sanctuary

Narration sentence highlighting is idle.

The track starts already in motion: dark guitars packed close together, drums keeping the count tight, no voice yet.

Now the whole band opens into a clearer heavy groove. It rides more easily, but the accents still keep it uneasy.

There's the first voice, after all that instrumental weight has already built the place around it: "Borders touch the sky's."

"Appointed by the gods" lands without the band stopping for ceremony; the guitars and drums keep pushing through the myth.

The gold in the lyric doesn't make the sound shine cleanly. The band still has that dark, corroded edge under it.

"A window to the underworld" opens the image downward, and the next line blocks the way with kings and creatures.

The singing turns from describing the walls to acting inside them: "The time has come to conquer."

That short "I see" changes the angle. The voice is looking through the sanctuary now, not just naming it.

The sanctuary gates stretch out over a long passage here, with the band still refusing to hurry the arrival.

The harder voice changes the whole surface: "No asylum," then sacrifice, falling pillars, an end in sight.

The singing voice returns with exile in it: "Leaving our home." The forward drive feels less triumphant now.

"A distant memory of hope" doesn't soften the arrangement much. The memory stays inside the same heavy passage.

This is the brutal choice point: "Die by the sword," answered by "Or be reborn," with no clean exhale after it.

The music gets even heavier one more time, thicker and harsher, as if the decision is still being worked through.

Now it starts to loosen. After so much sustained drive, that relaxation feels exposed instead of victorious.
