Arvo Part
Fratres
"Fratres" means brothers, and the title gives the wordless piece a useful pressure without turning it into a story. The relation is audible from the start: a strict frame and a vulnerable line moving together, not identical, not separate.
That is why the silences matter. Around 1:20, 4:20, and 9:35, the gaps do not cancel the pattern; they ask whether return can still be chosen. Each re-entry answers by continuing. By the terminal quiet after 10:21, nothing has been solved or escaped. The meaning of the title has become audible as changed weight inside recurrence, and the final silence leaves that relation intact.
